Review on 🦞 Hermie Friends Antonio Meets Match: Embrace the Adventure by David Crowder

Antonio is the most respected and bravest ant in the garden. One day a new neighbor moves in - an annoying and defiant neighbor. Antonio's first reaction is to cast out the pest and his friends, but God reverses course and tells him to love his neighbor. The lesson (love your neighbor as yourself) is good and clear. Unlike many Christian cartoons, this is the main theme, not a secondary theme. Both before and after the main story, Max Lucado explains the concept of charity. For that reason, I appreciate Antonio meeting his mate. Computer animation is another positive aspect. But the characters are not very pleasant. And the plot isn't interesting either. It is difficult for our children to follow. With three children under the age of six, we watch a lot of children's DVDs. Our girls weren't particularly impressed. Bonnie, our eldest, frowned. When it was over I asked her how she liked it. "I think... not really," she said. Athletic competition, noisy ants and conflict make Antonio a film that boys aged 5 to 7 should enjoy.
