Overall, the hardware is superior to that of the rival (Xbox One), and the console has outstanding exclusives. True, there are frequent and awful drawdowns in Witcher 3 (up to 15-20 fps). PCs can play far better heavy games for $35–40,000. If you play exclusive games or are more at ease using a joystick than a keyboard, taking makes sense. I give it a perfect score of 10, money well spent.
Pros
- Support for 1080p at 60 frames per second. graphics on par with mid-range PCs. Good joystick; in my opinion, it's superior than the Xbox One's. Dimensions are superior to the competition and allow for secure placement in a backpack. (Last of Us, Bloodborne) Excellent exclusives Compared to PC, game optimization is better.
Cons
- loud, even during light games. The primary drawback is the cost of games; standard games often start around $3,000. It takes a while for PSN games to load. It scratches terribly, so I bought a vinyl sticker to fix the issue.
