Liquid fuel weight is inefficient compared to isopropane. If you are looking for a classic hobo stove that can use a wide range of readily available liquid fuels, this is the choice. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a covered stainless steel saucepan using a HEET with some fuel, about 12 minutes. Wind. Cooking time increases with wind and windbreaks may be required in windy conditions.
