Review on 🔌 CTEK MXS Charger (3.8-5A) Mounting Bracket - CTEK (40-006) by Michael Hughes

I just bought a Ctek MXS 5.0 car charger and decided to browse related accessories. After going through all the many add-ons I decided the only thing I really needed was a charger mount bracket as I didn't want the charger just sitting on the garage floor or on top of the car itself. Two mounts were offered and this was by far the cheapest of the two. I chose it because it had the simplest design. I read all the reviews that said it was too expensive for a plain piece of plastic, but at under $12 with tax it seemed like a worthwhile buy. I'm so happy I bought this. It fits the charger like a glove and holds it securely and tightly. It comes with some wall anchors so you can screw it permanently to your garage wall, but it also has a built-in hanging hook. My Ctek charger fits this holder so snugly and securely that there is no risk of it falling out. I have chosen not to use wall anchors, although I will prefer to use them in the future. At this point, it took literally seconds to slide the charger into the mount and attach the whole thing to my garage wall with the hook that came with the mount. It's stuck on the wall right in front of my car and isn't going anywhere. Having the charger mounted on the wall about 4.5 feet off the ground is nice because I can see the indicator lights on the charger right through the windshield. It's a small price to pay for that convenience and the knowledge your charger is safe. So far I am delighted with my new Ctek charger and this very useful accessory. Seriously, buy a mount.
