The cable requires a flat ground in the threaded area at the end of the shifter cable.
This cable only has a flat thread on the end that attaches to the transmitting end of the cable. Both ends need this flat surface to fit the mount so I had to grind down a flat spot on the cable so I could use it. Not sure if this cable fits other models, next to it is a 2014 arctic wildcat trail. The cable had to be modified to make it work, but once installed it works perfectly.
