I like this salt shaker very much. We live in the humid part of the country and this little salt shaker really does the job. Other people reviewing this salt shaker have said it's cheap, but I don't think that's true. My husband and I find it easy to use with one hand as we simply open the shaker and then hold the lever with our other fingers and pour out the salt. To be honest my 83 year old mother had trouble opening and spilling the salt. as she has mild arthritis in her hands; Therefore, I would not recommend this type of shaker in such circumstances.
