Review on Efficient and Easy-to-Use 3-Cup Stainless Steel Flour Sifter by Mrs. Anderson’s Baking by Patricia Pena

Despite some complaints about the glue on the web I took a chance and hoped the manufacturer would learn from these reviews and get rid of it. My guess turned out to be correct. The label was applied with a very thin layer of adhesive and the residue was washed off with dish soap and warm water. However, I bought this to make a "high extraction" flour (aka sifted flour) that takes whole wheat flour and sifts through the bran. The photo (sorry the photo is not very good) shows the bran left in the colander and the sifted flour in the bowl - mission accomplished. This is a 9 inch colander, just what I wanted (didn't want a flimsy colander) so the wide bowl is useful. But it caught on pretty quickly and did its job.
