Small design glitch with fan mount, also perfect as it is

Because this case looks so nice, easy to assemble and because you can spread just enough thermal pads for CPU/RAM/USB controllers. . The case looks great and there are two extra screws on the bottom. Then comes the fan cover/nozzle. I like that technically it doesn't block I/O, but it's a little tricky to connect to the GPIO pins. The body allows for this attachment, but the problem lies in the structural support of the hat. The side opposite the pin connectors rests on the stop and if desired a cap could be screwed into the body. BUT on the other hand there is no such locking gap on the pin side and if you push the plugs all the way into the male parts the fan board PCB will bend because there is a gap of about 3mm when aligned. To fix this either put the screw posts on the side of the pin so that when you push the connectors against the pin you have a physical gap to run into like you do on the opposite side of the pin to get a perfect one ensure level. Otherwise I think the purchase is great. You get a very attractive case with a powerful fan. Maybe add a perforated cover with air vents on the side of the case to keep the top looking nice and clean, but still allow the case to cool down as I don't see how you can use the fan cover along with the case. closed because the only ventilation openings are on the lower plastic side. The silicone thermal pad also needs to be trimmed, I was lucky with the calculation. It is a rectangular sheet measuring approximately 10mm by 20mm. You need about 10mm*10mm for CPU, 10mm*5mm for RAM and about 5mm*5mm for USB controller. I put the last 5mm*5mm on this chip to the right and above the USB controller, I don't know what it is but it has a spacer on it. I can recommend it unreservedly. I bought 2, one for my 8GB Pi 4 for real OS and overclocking and one for my overclocked 2GB Pi 4 for emulation purposes.
