The only program that really interested me was PowerDVD and it comes with version 10 which is a few years old. You are up to PowerDVD 15! I was able to install it on Windows 8.1, but when you try to play a Blu-Ray disc it says "You need to upgrade your Cyberlink PowerDVD to play this disc" as if it were a disc. When you click the "Upgrade ' button will take you to an upgrade page which you will need to pay for. There is an almost hidden link to update the current version, but downloading and installing it doesn't fix the problem. Lest you think I just have no idea what I'm doing, I'm pretty good with computers. Maybe I could contact Cyberlink's client server, work on it for hours and get them to provide a discounted or free update. But who has time for all that. I just want to play a Blu Ray disc, for goodness sake! Also, it took forever to remove. Everything is fine with the hard drive. Just note that if you pay extra for "CyberSuite" you will likely have to pay more to upgrade to a newer version.
