We like this exercise mat. My daughter and I strength train together and this mat is good for protecting the floor as well as keeping us from slipping. We also really like that we can use it for ab workouts (since it's only in our house, I wouldn't lay right on the gym floor) without getting down another exercise mat. But it works nicely if you do use another mat for floor or yoga, it keeps the mats from slipping too.A negative is that it has a tendency to attract pet hair. We have a dog and two cats and it often has pet hair on it and it's a little bit of a struggle to clean. You have to use a wet rag because the pet hair sticks. The reason we don't slip on it is the same reason the pet hair sticks.
