I waited 4 months before writing this review so I could see how well the mat held up after lots of use. I've done an aerobic exercise routine and other types of muscle training on this mat every other day with my sneakers on. It has held up perfectly with no signs of wear at all other than a few insignificant scuff marks. The measurements are exactly as listed. I got the 5'x7' one and it's the perfect size for my workouts with some room to spare. Truely 7mm thick, which is a hair over 1/4 inch.

We put this in our workout room and it's great. It replaces 2 yoga mats that we had in there with a nice black padded surface.It comes with a carrying case and straps so you can roll it up and take it with you. But it's quite a large mat and I can't imagine moving it around much. I would not recommend this product because it is just a large neoprene pad, doesn’t hold up, and not a standard high density material. Additionally the ends are not sealed, and can wear and break off. I felt obligated to write this as it seems like there is a lot of reviews pushing this product for some type of incentive.

I originally had a 5x7 rug under my treadmill but it did not offer much comfort on the hard basement floor. This was a great replacement and feels nice and cushion-y under my feet. It also leaves just enough room next to the treadmill to do some floor or weight work if needed. If you have a treadmill and some weights, I think 2 mats next to each other would make a great home gym! I may order a second in the future! We like this exercise mat. My daughter and I strength train together and this mat is good for protecting the floor as well as keeping us from slipping. We also really like that we can use it for ab workouts (since it's only in our house, I wouldn't lay right on the gym floor) without getting down another exercise mat. I am using this as part of my exercise space. The puzzle piece flooring slips, so I wanted to find something that was more stable. It is thicker than I was expecting, which is great. It has good grip on both sides and my feet don’t slide at all.

This mat has held up well to exercise with shoes on as well as to use with an exercise bike. This large mat is pretty durable, and yet comfortable. We're using it on wood floors, but it could certainly work on concrete. When I opened it, the smell was minor, and similar to any other plastic mat. It rolls flat, minimal curl.

Because the front side is very slippery for doing any type of calisthenics, yoga, etc. Sweat makes it even worse. The reverse side of the mat provides better grip, but you can tell it’s upside down. Also, the mat needs to be taller and wider to provide more surface area fora wider range of workouts. I’m disappointed and won’t buy it again, despite how durable and comfortable it may be.

This covered a good length of the workout area I'm using. Its heavy duty and is a good area mat to work on, thick and plush. Easy to clean and sanitize as well. Overall great purchase.

I got this mat for my son to lift weights on. It’s not super think which is good for stability but uncomfortable for kneeling and floor exercises.But we like it and it’s a good size.

After a few weeks of working out on it, it is now starting to wear and leaving the black particles all over your body, especially your knees when doing workout. So frustrating because now we have black particles all over the place and your body after working out.

My workout mat was what I expected. I use it in my living room. If I leave it out, it’s not a trip hazard and it’s easy to clean. If I put it away, it’s not too heavy or hard for me. Easy to store. I roll it up, stand it upright, and lean it against the wall in a corner.

Great thickness, none slippery, no smell out of the box. Comes with a storage bag which is a huge plus since we’ll need to store it from time to time.

A great mat for a professional or home gym in my opinion. Great thickness and it was easy to get it to lie flat. Super simple to mop clean and it didn’t have an overwhelming smell when I rolled it out. Very comfortable for yoga, stretching, push ups or any exercise really. Also a good protective base mat to put equipment on. Probably not quite thick enough for heavy duty tumbling.

This is a good mat exactly the size listed. I use it as a mat for an inflatable swimming pool. It isn't too thick or too thin. It is just right to provide a bit of cushion and separation from the bare ground. It comes rolled up in a bag. It is heavy and stay planted on the ground when rolled out. Absolutely nothing wrong with this mat. Recommended.

Great exercise mat over carpet. Purchased this for my Tonal and it works great for both weight training and Barre. It is stable, generous size, does not slide and comfortable enough for crunches etc. highly recommend

This mat is everything I was hoping for! Solid, thin but very dense, strong, no-slip, no slide, no curl, no breakdown. I workout on the mat with sneakers for hours every day. Love it!
