Review on CGS 20137 Air Intake System by Cody Bowie

GOOD BUT MODIFICATION REQUIRED

It says it can be bolted on without modification. NOT TRUE! The hole where the sensor is inserted is in the middle of the pipe, and the original position of the sensor is right at the hole of the throttle body. You'll need to connect about 10 inches of wire to get to the new placement area. The included silicone adapter is much larger than the throttle body bore. To fix this, cut off an inch of the original hose that was attached to the throttle body and then it will fit perfectly into the silicone adapter. The valve cover breather hose also needs to be trimmed about 1.5 inches to fit where it originally was or it will stick out a bit. Finally, I recommend taking the rubber washer that is under the mounting bracket next to the filter and attaching it with a 1/4-20 Nylok nut that is not included. To attach the bracket to the pipe, simply pry it under the clamp that the filter is attached to. By the way, disconnect the battery for a minute so that when you reconnect it, the computer reconfigures the air-fuel mixture. You definitely feel a burst of energy when you engage a gear as far as increased mileage goes.?
