My first airbag purchase was a little difficult as they didn't fit my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder as advertised. The problem was that the existing 1/4" hole in the base of the coil spring seat (from where the airline accesses the bag) was too small (the line is also 1/4" in diameter). Traveling with limited tools and no fixed address at the time, I delivered the bags when visiting a friend while traveling. I decided to install them as time was a factor. Initially they worked great and I was very happy with them but the metal reel seat soon cut through the airline and consequently blew the bags away within 400 miles. I ended up driving the next 2,000 miles to my brother's where I contacted customer service, explained my predicament and requested a replacement or refund as the fault was on the seller/Revains side. They apologized for the inconvenience and promptly sent replacements. In anticipation of a replacement, I drilled the coil seat channel hole access to 1/2" (must use a right angle adapter on my drill bit to access the inside of the coils to ream the hole since I did). I have no tools on my original setup In any case the new port size works great and I'm happy with the Revain bags and customer service I have one piece of advice: Install separate valves for each bag (optional) It saves time Find a leak, if it should happen AND chances are you will eventually encounter a leak.
