Review on PRYSM Bake Element Replacement for WB44T10010 by Chef Deane

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saved my family hundreds of dollars!

What can I say? The heating element on our newly purchased GE line failed after 12 years. Do yourself a huge favor and instead of throwing away a working appliance or calling a handyman, spend a few bucks, buy a new item and get on with it. Installation shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes. Step by step: 1. Turn off the power / turn off the switch2. Open the door 3. Remove the racks4. Unscrew the 2 screws holding the existing element.5. Carefully pull the element forward and sever the 2 wires - tape at the back of the oven if you are concerned about losing them in the back of the oven. Probably troublesome to recapture them from the back of the area.6. Connect the new element to the wires in the same order they were removed from the defective element.7. Reinsert the wires into the oven and insert the ends of the element until the bracket is aligned with the wall.8. Screw in the arrow element. Did.
