Good for the price.

Ordered for crochet minions, along with yarn from Michael's (wool, superfine, weight 1). There is no weight class on the label (other than 3ply) but it is not significantly different in size from Michael's yarn. It is 100% acrylic and is much softer than I expected from such a cheap yarn. It has a fairly loose twist and is quite prone to splitting (which is why I deducted a star). It also tends to fuzz a bit when crocheted, but the fuzz is not noticeable at all in the finished stitches (I included a picture of my servant in the process). It's definitely not the best choice for clothes because I don't think it will wear well. Also, it's too thin for most types of clothing other than socks (and unlikely to hold or breathe well for socks). A few reviewers have mentioned small strands. Remember that the multicolored packs are bon bon sizes. 10 grams each. Plain yarn consists of 4 skeins of 50 grams each, the size of a medium potato. Generally there are more expensive yarns that would be of much better quality. And there are cheaper but lower quality ones. This yarn is a pretty good compromise between the two.
