Very silky acrylic yarn. It is soft and plump, very thin thread, as in lace weight. It would be much better if this "BambooMN Brand" actually had bamboo fibers. Good yarn for the price.

I love these little skeins! I'm doing a project that requires leftover socks and I didn't have them, but I needed some paints. That's great! They are so small and adorable that some of them are used as "crochet baskets" for my granddaughter's American Girl dolls. This company has always believed in fast delivery and quality products.

I was expecting the strands to be small but they are smaller and shorter than expected. I chose 2X Assortment 97 because I wanted to use two packs of 20 "mostly" multicolored skeins to work on the amigurumi pieces. The description says "10 x 39 yards" per package, but the packages received show that each mini skein is only 25 yards, not 39. The description is misleading. They're very cute - no bigger than a ping pong ball or something - and are technically made from useable yarn if you intend to knit or crochet them. However, please note that despite the name, the yarn contains absolutely no bamboo fibers and the quality of the yarn is quite low. Maybe you should assume that with the price, but the so-called yarn really reminded me more of trying to crochet cheap yarns. ie does not exist at all, keeps splitting, tangles easily, does not shine etc. I got this…

Ordered for crochet minions, along with yarn from Michael's (wool, superfine, weight 1). There is no weight class on the label (other than 3ply) but it is not significantly different in size from Michael's yarn. It is 100% acrylic and is much softer than I expected from such a cheap yarn. It has a fairly loose twist and is quite prone to splitting (which is why I deducted a star).
