I started Arches many years ago and won't use anything else. The only thing I missed about Arches was the bright white, which I prefer for a reflective quality when using transparent colors. I stumbled upon this paper quite by accident and have never returned to Arches. Some complain about the deformation. This can be 100% avoided by using 3M Micropore Surgical Tape prior to painting. (Available here). This is the perfect ribbon for watercolor paper. Live and learn, right? The only weak point isolated from the rubberized edge. If you're not careful or aware of this weakness, you can tear the paper, but if you're aware of this design flaw in advance and are careful when removing the sheet of paper, you're 100% fine. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the rubberized edges.
