Well for the price you can't expect everything but it looks very cheap. The bowl itself, the hinges feel very easy to break. I bent mine and unfortunately it always comes back to that shape, so I don't know if that's why it's so noisy in use. I would still give them 1 star if they weren't easily damaged, hence the reason for the durability rating. I would have liked it better if the bowl was glass or just thicker. It just seems incredibly cheap, so it's not something you'd flaunt in the kitchen. Otherwise it does what it should. Manufacturer. I would say there is a kettle filter on top.
