Review on 🔩 Stainless Steel Reducing Bushing by Beduan by Ricky Habbani

This product is inexpensive, claims to be made of stainless steel and does the job. However, the threads (especially the internal ones) are of poor quality. The threads are not smooth as they have a few scratches and small "lumps". They are more visible live and easy to feel with a finger or on other objects. Not only do these poor quality threads cause a bad connection, I believe that over time they will also damage the threads of any item this product is connected to, especially if it is connected/disconnected multiple times. Bad threads prevent a solid connection with the threads of other objects. Some reviews of others mentioned similar issues while other reviews mentioned that the product is in good condition and I decided to order 2 items. Both had the problems I mentioned; but one was far worse than the other, and I should have thought it unsuitable; So I've already started giving back the worst. After using quite a bit of plumbing/thread seal tape I was able to almost completely prevent leakage. I will later replace this item from another manufacturer but for now the performance of the item (after applying excessive tape which I prefer not to use at all - and don't use for most plumbing connections) along with the low price (compared to others) These are the results in my 3-star rating.
