I have ordered MD+ compression stockings in the past and I really liked them, but these socks are different. I didn't notice "summer" in the description but they are a lot thinner than others I've bought. They are so thin you can see my toes through my socks as you can see in the photo I posted. I wore them for the first time today and they were nowhere near as comfortable as the other MD+ socks I'm used to. As they are thin there is no cushioning under my foot. They slipped a bit during my work shift so I had to pull them back up a couple of times. As the material is thin I don't think they will be very strong. I wear shoe size 8 or 8 1/2. My calves are 15 inches at their widest point. I wouldn't buy them again. Instead, I will look for the thicker MD+ socks that I have bought in the past because they are very comfortable even after dozens and dozens of washes.
