Review on Cadillac Chevy & GMC AUTOSAVER88 OEM Rear Left & Right Shock Absorber Pair - SUV-AS-2127 Compatibility by Alex Cassanova

More than a year one of them and they are dead and one is broken.

01/20/2020 Edit/UpdateAfter several emails to them they offered to replace or refund me. I received a refund which I am still putting into my account which can take up to 10 days. I've attached a few photos of one literally breaking the top bracket. I replaced them with the signature shock on January 19th and another one I got from these guys was preparing to do the same. January 15, 2020 Edit this review. Since yesterday 01/14/2020 both shock absorbers are dead. It's been 1 year and almost 2 months. None of them last more than a few seconds, and one of them broke off the top bracket. I will never buy these again! I have contacted the seller via email. See what happens. But in 30 years of being both a home mechanic and a professional mechanic, I've never seen a shock absorber break so quickly. I saw broken ones older than 10 years. But that was never new. I ordered the Monroe set because I can't wait for an email response. But I'll edit it again if I get an answer. But I bet since I couldn't find anything to guarantee I won't get anything. All I could find was lifetime support. Maybe the guarantee is the same. The ride is almost as smooth as the factory air shocks on my Denali. Almost if not more than a year on them. It also holds air very well. Still a pleasure to drive. No complaints, especially for the price. I've seen people say it's a factor because they make it drive like a van or something. get real You can go back to AC Delco or Arnot for over $500 each, which are absolute crap and won't last more than 6-8 months before bushings snap and bags leak. Any replacement of aftermarket shock absorbers on electronically controlled suspension is not as comfortable due to the loss of electronic ride control. They all have resistors to trick the body control module into believing everything is fine. In any case. These are still okay. No leaks. The trip is good, especially for the price. Take what this 30-year-old mechanic has to say with a grain of salt, if you will. But don't complain because you can't/won't pay $1000 for rear shocks.
