This is a nice kettle that works very well. The whistle is loud and easy to hear. Shiny stainless steel is easy to clean and looks great. The button on the handle that opens the spout is convenient to use, and the handle stays cool after boiling water. One of the best things about this kettle is that unlike many other kettles, there is no seam on the bottom. This was an important consideration for me as I have found that these bottom seams tend to leak over time. So far we are very happy with this purchase. The only issue I have is that after it arrived and we were so happy with it I wanted to order a second one and found that the price had gone up from the $29.99 I paid and is currently is $53. This was just a few days after I received my order. It's not cool :-)) Because of this, we decided not to take the second one.
