Works as expected in my 2003 Subaru Forester
I had a bad experience with a professional service where I paid a lot of money for a 90,000 service. They installed a cheap 210 degree thermostat in my 2003 Forester. The temp gauge on my car was almost always just below the red line. I could go back and have them look at my car AGAIN for the third time. Since I no longer trust them, I bought this thermostat and installed it myself. It took less than an hour and my engine was running normally again. This is a great replacement for the stock Subaru thermostat, which is around $35 at your nearest Subaru dealer.
