Review on Efficient Metal and Stainless Steel Cutting with EZARC Cut Off Wheel - 25 Pack by Dale Sundet

Working on cutting!

I have to say I don't use it that often. I have a variety of tools that can work, from hand saws to oscillating multi-tools. Yesterday I had to cut steel, so instead of a hacksaw, I decided to try an angle grinder and these fine kerf EZARC blades. First, a hacksaw would take 5-10 minutes to cut. I could do it in the garage but my bench would be a mess. A multi-tool would have worked a little quicker, but I would still have to adjust and cut from the outside, and the bits on the multi-tool are more for softer materials like wood and drywall. , started the angle grinder and the cuts were made in seconds. Yes, there were some sparks - that's what protection is for, and that's why you use such tools when there's nothing flammable around. The cuts were not only made quickly, but also incredibly clean. My hacksaw always leaves a dirty flange at the end of the cut that I have to clean up with a file. I still had to file the edges, but because the cuts were so clean the filing also took less time and was mainly used to create the profile I needed and not to remove the torn flange. Find? Not really. Prices for them seem to range from $0.25 to $2.50 a piece with no rhyme or reason why they are $40 for 25 or $25 for 100. This pack of 25 cut-off wheels will last a very long time, so $0.76 for me. EA is a wonderful value.
