I bought this kit for Akaso V1 DVR. My 2012 Ford Fusion cigarette lighter plug is always on so you have to get into the habit of unplugging the dashcam after use and this has become a problem. I chose this stiff wire kit because it has everything you need to make it happen. There are many videos on youtube how to hook it up and it was easy enough. I think the hardest part for me was accessing the fuse box as Ford made access difficult. I made sure the wires were routed and secured properly. I haven't had any problems with the length and I have a little left over that I knitted. Now I'm glad my DVR turns on when the car starts and turns off when the car turns off.
