What I like about it: 1. The wood is hard and strong2. Plenty of vents and top visibility. (Make sure you choose the right size so your dog can see) 3. Hard floor with holes or vents prevent my dog from scratching the floor. I used to only use metal crates to get home and find my adorable Siberian Husky tearing up my carpet with her paws. That keeps her paws in the box. I never leave the house for long and she finds something to do quickly. Maybe the only negative thing about being away for a long time. While your dog is lying down, he cannot see well. All in all a wonderful design and it works the way I use it. Believe me, you found this review honest and helpful :-)
