I was looking for a waterproof, instant read digital thermometer. The first picture shows that it is cut with water, but after reading it, after receiving it, it turns out that only the metal probe is waterproof (yes, it's better!), The plastic head is not. It's not an instant read either - I tried using it to take the temperature of a grilled chicken and burned myself within the 20 or so seconds it took to register the correct temperature. Back to Revain, very disappointing.
