Entirely too bright

Bought these to keep on my person since whenever I want to check pupillary response I never seem to be able to find a pen light. Tried them out when they came in today and they are entirely too bright. I’d understand if they were marketed as a flashlight but as an exam light they are useless. Guess I don’t have to worry about reactivity and dilation if my patient is blind.

Pros

Great cheap easy pen light very bright no batteries included but otherwise great product

Cons

The pupil gauge is difficult to clean and quickly accumulates grime and dust
