This case is the perfect complement to the Yeti Colster 1.0, especially if (like me) you drink 16oz frequently. Energy drinks or craft beer, and the top half of the can just dangles and gets hot. The outer skin is identical in texture to the Yeti's black screw cap, making it almost look like an official Yeti product. It wraps tight and tight. This item is very well made! Some have complained about the lack of insulation, even deducting stars for it. I don't agree with that at all as the extension still seals out the cold and it's a lot better than nothing at all. And it's a lot cheaper than buying a new big can for the Colster Yeti. I put some of my own insulation on the inside of the extension just for fun and it works really well. I used a small strip of HVAC bubble wrap (the thing you use to insulate air ducts) and it matches the colster's bottom hem perfectly to keep drinks cool. It is thick enough to "hugg" the glass when inserted. I would highly recommend this product to those of us who are still using the original Colster!
