Review on πŸŒ„ Enhance Your Off-Road Adventures with the Smittybilt 561135 C-RES '2 HD' Trail Net, Black Diamond by Joe Michels

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality and design but still not compatible with OEM tops.

Build quality was fairly good, audible small parts and abrasions but nothing that could be a problem later or that couldn't be fixed with a lighter if needed. Installation was easy enough and they give you enough straps to install it without snarling or using needle nose pliers to pull an inch of slack through the buckle like the cheaper options available. Also suitable for solid soundbars. I ended up returning it although this type of cargo net (Smittlybilt and Razor Auto) does not fit, I repeat they do not work well with OEM soft tops. The bars hang from and hang from almost every buckle every time you take your top off or put it back on, making each strap retightening a two-man job and a pain in the back. Great product and if you have a no arc soft top or hard top, leave it in the garage or ignore the hassle (good luck) then I can give this one 5 stars. But as mentioned, the OEM top is not as compatible as they say. And yes, I've been messing around with changing the orientation of the networks to the opposite side, it still freezes and weakens.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some flaws
