Well made in Japan (at least the units I received)
This ruler is well made, the markings are very well printed. I bought both 150mm and 300mm. I do a lot of radio control and find the 150mm ruler particularly indispensable. I've seen some complaints about it being made in China and I also see it says it here in the official product photos. I've uploaded a photo of myself showing that both are made in Japan. Note. The same review can be found on the 150mm ruler page, because why try to reinvent the wheel? I'm not a review bot. :)
