heavier. Stronger. Longer.

Well, only up to 30 cm, but great for small gigs around the house. If 300mm is too much for you, you can try the 15cm version. This is a metric ruler so don't be surprised if you can easily read it and calculate how long your screw needs to be.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

True metric ruler.

It's very hard to find a clean metric ruler in the United States. Everything wants to be at least metric/imperial. It's just a metric and nothing else as it should be. Thank you for doing this and selling in the US. I've bought about 4 or 5 of these so far. Perhaps one day the United States will stop being the only pillar in the WORLD and switch to the metric system.

An excellent choice for a metric metal ruler.

I am using a laser cutting/engraving computer application that uses metric units. I needed a reliable ruler to check my material to make sure my measurements were correct. This metric ruler ticks all the boxes. The digital scale is clearly marked and easy to read. The edge of the ruler is 0 mm, which makes it easier to measure objects from the edge. There are some useful SAE conversion charts engraved into the material on the back. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Nice, but why rounded?

Beautiful and durable. The measurement starts right at the edge and is therefore suitable for precise measurements where the ruler must be in contact with the object. but to be honest. Why round an end? Why is it useful? Why not let's measure from both ends? You can flatten the round end and arm in inches and millimeters. but you didn't do it. Why? Because you wanted to sell us two lines instead of one? I really like the durability of this thing, but I had to take a star off for that rounded…

Pros
  • Linear measurement
Cons
  • Some errors

Well made in Japan (at least the units I received)

This ruler is well made, the markings are very well printed. I bought both 150mm and 300mm. I do a lot of radio control and find the 150mm ruler particularly indispensable. I've seen some complaints about it being made in China and I also see it says it here in the official product photos. I've uploaded a photo of myself showing that both are made in Japan. Note. The same review can be found on the 150mm ruler page, because why try to reinvent the wheel? I'm not a review bot. :)

Japanese and Chinese versions are slightly different

The first one I ordered was slightly deformed and could not lie on its own. It touches in the middle but the ends stick out 0.5-1mm on each side. So I ordered another one. The new one I ordered was different. The first one said "Made in China" on the box, while the new one said "Made in Japan" on both the box and the scale itself. The "Made in Japan" version had Shinwa written in English, while the "Made in China" version had Shinwa written in katakana. On closer inspection, the print was…
