I have been using Growing Natural Rice Proteins in shakes for a few years but am very disappointed with this new formula. It used to be sprouted rice protein, but it doesn't seem to be sprouting anymore. That was important to me. It also has a very strong smell when you open the container which has never been there. And then there's the taste and texture. No amount of protein powder helps. It used to be my favorite of the different brands and types, but that's definitely not the case now. Now it's just gross. The flavor is so strong I can't even taste the frozen berries I put in my smoothies. I choked on that container and then I was done with that brand. By the way, I used to like both pure and vanilla in the old formula, but now both are disgusting. The new vanilla has a very strong vanilla flavor that overpowers everything else and is too sweet. I thought the plain would be better, and while it's not overly cute, it's just as gross.
