Review on Enhance Your Number Input Experience with Microsoft Number Pad - Matte Black by Prentice Fossett

Excellent, simple little digital keyboard

There isn't much to say about this digital keyboard. It's simple, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I didn't want a button with a bunch of extra buttons taking up space, and I didn't want a button with a modified "+" button instead of the traditional -, then +, and then Enter on the right hand hand. I like the sleep mode. Some might find it a bit cumbersome, but I like the way it works. If you haven't used the numeric keypad for a while and then start typing a string of numbers, you'll notice an on-screen delay, maybe half a second or 1 second, but keystrokes won't be skipped - any numbers you type WILL be typed , unlike some external keyboards/keyboards that skip that first keypress because it should wake up the device. If you're good at typing and can keep in mind what you're typing for about half a second, you're fine. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I think Microsoft should play its part.
