EDIT: After months and several rides in the rain/storm - Status update: - The rubber that holds the fenders needs more and more stretching to keep them in place keep. My guess is that at some point it will be Disruption. As it's been used about 30 rides in total I have a feeling this part is weak and will break prematurely (it happens on both fenders so it's just weak rubber) - I found that the front fender wasn't long enough is. Depending on the speed, tires and amount of rain, it will splash in your face. I taped an extension from a bottle which made it look a lot nicer. Although it's a deal breaker in my opinion, even though it costs almost $60 (hence one star removed) in my opinion. First Rating: I gave it a try and was not disappointed - while not as good as specialized canopies, they come close enough. I installed them on a 56cm cross bike (i.e. with little front/rear spacing). Well, in case you're wondering, this is obviously not meant for racing. I love that I can put them on for commuting to work in the rain/wet and take them off for other things. Or even keep them for running in the wet mud when I don't want to spend ages washing myself, my bike and my clothes. Pros: Contrary to what I've read, they're not exactly weak. They don't slip either. I have a motocross bike and when I push hard my disc brakes start rubbing. The wings didn't rub anywhere. Don't push, don't jump, don't jump, don't turn, never. Maybe people have really weak frames. or they are mounted too close to the tires (I have a 1cm clearance according to the instructions, which is a little less than half an inch). Also, make sure the rubber bands are tight! They are easy to put on and take off so you don't have to leave them in place. It takes me about 20 seconds - They cover more area of the wheel front/rear, much more than the traditional "clips" - They look pretty good, especially after I painted the pillars black ;-) - They come along well clear tape to protect your frame once you have them installed. Cons: - I still spray a little more than when using custom wings. This is mainly due to the fact that the special fenders sit a little closer to the tire and cover an even larger area. However, the coverage is more than acceptable and far better than any single "regular clip-on" wing I've used before. I'm not sure how long rubber bands will last, but I'm sure they will eventually fail. - Setup is a bit finicky, took longer than I expected - although everything is fine after that. Make sure the fender is perfectly level when installing, even if that means unscrewing, readjusting, rescrewing, otherwise you will run into problems and not get good coverage. Finally, I'd recommend them if you're looking for road or cross bike front and rear fenders that will fit almost any tire size (up to 38C I'd say). I've been looking for a long time and as of late 2016 there was nothing better than what I've read about it!
