No range! Networking products

I've finally found some clarification that I'm not the only one having such poor coverage! As I have read in other reviews and experienced myself, the range is extremely limited. We had to replace these blocks in several homes after installing them because there was simply no coverage. For the price I would definitely not buy this machine. Being a techie, my first thought after encountering limited range was to call tech support. I thought I might have missed a setting. The first tech must have been a noob or something because he read me a pdf manual that I had already read. Actually, I read it while he read to me. So I complained and actually got a call from a very knowledgeable specialist. That's why they get the second star, not because of the device. We went through the settings, I asked him to dial my laptop and he was very good. I even learned a few things. How sweet. Ultimately, though, the range didn't magically increase, and now this device (well, one of them) sits on a shelf in my office, providing WiFi to three adjacent rooms. If I find an app worth using this hotspot for this price I'll let you know. It looks like they put all their might into the feature set and forgot about the range. If you want an incredibly cool range and are willing to spend money, you've come to the right place at Ruckus. That's all we're selling right now.
