Easy installation in high mount brake lights

Installation is very easy if you can remove the spare wheel. I have Assault 20x10 rims with 35x12.50 tires. So this combination is probably close to 100 pounds. If you have a similar setup and can't lift the weight I would suggest hiring a second person to help you turn the rim on or off. I don't know how much a jeep's standard wheels weigh, but 90% of people should be able to drive it with no problems. I was able to take the tire off and put it back on without help. The product is well made and made of durable ABS plastic. I pulled the tire up to the upper torque limit and heard no pops or pops. In case you're wondering, rear tire torque ranges from 40 to 80 ftlbs. I assume there is a 40 ftlb difference from the factory depending on the rim and tire combo that comes with your jeep. Some jeeps come with 30-inch tires, others are larger. I just upped the torque to 80 ftlbs and would advise anyone to use the torque to 80. You don't want the tire to fall off. I hooked up my headlights to the third brake light just behind it. .I had a factory white wire and a factory black wire. I connected the red wire from this headlight to the white wire and the black wire to the black wire. This only illuminates when you brake. it with one of the brake lights which is powered when the headlights are on. Brake on I wanted mine to be the third brake light when the brake pedal is on so that's how I wired it up. The item has a 5 hole universal fit for other vehicles.
