To be perfectly clear I paid for this knife. There is no freebie here to get a good review. I've been using this knife for a few weeks now and I LOVE it - the smooth look of the handle, the overall look of the blade, the balance of handling and its sharpness. Yes, you expect a knife to be sharp, but I use a popular knife set that needs frequent sharpening, so I don't like to do that with this knife. Simple pleasures. There are no complaints here, although I would have liked a protective cover. However, I don't mind treating it like the Holy Grail lest anything touch the blade and dull its sharpness. I'm happy with my choice and I think most other buyers are too.
