I was hesitant to order at first, but after installing it I was pleasantly surprised. The instructions that come with it are pretty poor, but after watching a short YouTube video you can get a general idea of how to install it. It helps to have the right tools as all that is included is a simple hex wrench. The rails that have arrived are for the 2017 CX5 and fit perfectly on the 2018 CX5. The roof rails are made of durable plastic, the crossbars are made of black powder-coated metal. Once everything is installed and tightened, I'm not worried about anything coming loose. Especially at this price I would happily buy them again compared to buying a $700 kit from the dealer. In general very satisfied. Everything was shipped quickly and arrived as expected with no damage. All parts fit very well on my CX5.
