Review on πŸ”΄ EBC Brakes DP31495C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pad - Superior SEO-Optimized Product Title by Drew Gengler

Wrong sensor leads

Pads came from Revain in good condition, bubble wrapped and with cardboard clip holders. I installed it on a 2007 Audi A6. The pads include wear sensor wires, but the plug, despite being used correctly, does not fit my car. Electrode images at non-Revain sites show correct probe output. Not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or if the box had the wrong pads (although they fit correctly). Due to the condition of my old pads and rotors, I had to install them without the sensor connected. . The pads (and accompanying rotors) are noticeably better than the OEM in terms of stopping power. I haven't completely broken them yet and they are quite noisy/squeaky at the moment, especially when braking around corners. I expect this to decrease once they are properly installed. I have contacted the US EBC warranty department and will update the product review if they can fix the sensor issue.
