Great brake pads

Lasted almost a year on my 2006 Audi A4. They have hardly any signs of wear and work perfectly. The sensor cables fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • boring packaging

Holds your car up beautifully

Bought these for my Audi S4 as I was disappointed with the Akebono brake pads. ratio, but the braking distance is greatly reduced and they do not disappear like Akebonos. Being a heavy car, a steep climb was enough to cushion the brakes a bit. Now the car is much more manageable when you need spirited driving. Will replace the rear Redstuff pads when they need to be replaced.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Some small things

The box was opened, parts everywhere!

Don't get me wrong these brakes are awesome! After inventory called for replacement, these red EBC things have been on my 2006 Audi A6 3.2 quattro ever since. butt. Received the package in a nice Amazon box, there were open brakes everywhere in the EBC box, it looked like a return. I don't risk sending them back. The Ebc box had to be closed as usual. This was the first order of brakes from Amazon, probably the last. I love you Amazon but I do auto parts carpartsholesale.com

These brake pads are the best.

brake pads will bring your car to a standstill in no time. I like them best in combination with regular solid rotors as long as they are of good quality. I prefer centric rotors with those red EBC pads. No slotted or drilled rotors required. They last really long so don't worry. Some people complain about brake dust, but the dust can be removed with regular cleaning products. Why worry about brake dust? They could be bought for their superior stopping power. My car can stop as fast as some…

Cheapest Red Stuff for a Reason

While they serve their purpose, these brakes are sold cheaply for a reason. Probably an online returns collector. I got these brakes in a great AMAZON box, inside was an open and poorly protected EBC box with what turned out to be a hodgepodge of already returned pads. One of the wear sensor wires was almost broken, the braking surface of one of the pads was bulging, one of the pad retainers was bent so bad I had to pry a hammer out and hammer it in. This is just to prevent rattling, so no big…

  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Will do the job

Wrong sensor leads

Pads came from Revain in good condition, bubble wrapped and with cardboard clip holders. I installed it on a 2007 Audi A6. The pads include wear sensor wires, but the plug, despite being used correctly, does not fit my car. Electrode images at non-Revain sites show correct probe output. Not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or if the box had the wrong pads (although they fit correctly). Due to the condition of my old pads and rotors, I had to install them without the sensor connected.…
