First of all I had to be very careful not to break the parts when pushing them out! It's worth gently pressing the back of the card to gently pull it out without damaging it. Secondly, I had to get the necessary item (at first I thought it was stupid, but it turned out to be invaluable) - a hammer! I think this is a gift to the right person. I was about to gift this to my 11 year old niece so I ordered first to see what the level of difficulty involved. Needless to say I am not ordering this for anyone.
