The cables seem to be quite long (1m), but they are not long enough on the Creality 5 Plus. I made 1/4m extensions from the wires from the first failed thermistor using JST connectors bought here. work normally. I've found that part-to-part tolerances can result in temperature readings that vary by as much as 5 degrees between parts. Use a thermometer to check accuracy and note the offsets required. They most often fail when they are covered in molten plastic due to poor printing and then a rod breaks off the roller trying to clean the area. So the problem is mechanical, not electrical. If this does not happen, they will last for months in continuous use. But buy spare parts, crimping tool and JST connector kit. As a plus, they come pre-ground for crimping. Most of the time I've already canceled a few for a quick swap.
