These are pretty good shoes for special occasions but it may take a few tries to find the right size. Reading previous reviews it was hard to tell because some said it was too big; others said it was too small. Well, I have to vote too big. If your child is not yet a size 9, you can order a size 8.5. When the age of size 9 is coming to an end, order size 9. Will you receive it? The shoe has a good rubber sole and is easy to put on with the elastic in the lip. I have reordered once. Despite the sizing issue, I would order this item again.
