Wow. I can't believe I would have a problem with a $23 rug. I mean I wasn't expecting the best rug in the world but this is REALLY poor quality! I don't know why there are so many rave reviews! This "carpet" is very, very thin, rather non-slip. I couldn't tell for sure if I was standing on anything (it was my wooden floor). I don't want anything very thick so I wouldn't if that was the only problem. BUT the real problem is that the pattern looks like it was sprayed onto the top of the carpet fibers. I've attached pictures so you can see what I mean. In the first picture you can see the line where the rug was folded for shipping. I tried brushing in all directions but couldn't get it off. This is because the fibers are very short and after being "bent" by being folded in this way, good luck getting them back up. sprayed on the short fibers of the carpet. Yes! I tried just standing on the mat like I would when using it (it's for standing room, not driveway), thinking maybe using sparse colors wouldn't be a problem. But it was. You could see the outlines of my footprints because the colored tips of the fibers were simply crushed under my feet, so the lighter color is visible under the fibers when I step off this mat. Well forget it! I'll send it back (free returns!). FYI - I have two other rugs (made by 'Brumlow Mills', they are also from Revain) that cost a little more than this one and they are HIGH QUALITY rugs.
