Really the worst disposable lint rollers. To be honest I didn't know they did her that bad. Did you know that traditional lint rollers have a rough and durable look, like masking tape? Well, duct tape has thinner paper than (ironically) duct tape. And with less stick. For example, a typical lint roller has large perforations between each sheet, and the paper is stiff enough to withstand the force you pull on it, so all the energy is expended tearing at the perforations. Not only do these rollers ALWAYS pull something up from the next sheet as they roll, but they also have poor perforation and the paper strips. Instead of putting force on the perforation line, it stretches the tape behind it, so you just pull more. I usually have to get the fingers of my left hand just behind the perforation and then rip with my right to keep it from pulling more sheets. And even then, sometimes the last remaining bond between the sheets is held and stretched so tightly that I have to let go of the sheet and grab it again at that precise moment before I can actually rip the worn sheet off. After this attempt, I almost always have to discard a significant portion of the new sheet because it's sure to lift off the roll midway when I test it. To add to my troubles, this process requires a bit of stroking as the tape is so scarce it won't even stick to itself. The sticky surface is so minimal that the limp, flexible sheets don't even stick to each other, apart from not pulling out half the lint like other rollers and hitting their waste limit(?) twice as fast. This is no joke (actually the frustration that ultimately inspired this review): A few days ago when I was using one of the reels the first sheet stayed on my shirt and with a flick of the wrist a chain of SIX sheets was rolling. Just a long rope. In fact the ONLY reason I kept using them was because I stupidly bought them in a 5 pack (hoping they would be as good as any other reel) and I had the idea of using all the remaining packs to throw away. away hoping I'll burn them soon enough and never buy that brand again. But honestly? nope I'm done. The rest is thrown away and I buy from a competent brand. Today.
