If you have a badly oxidized surface you need this. If you have a slightly oxidized surface, you can still use it (with caution). I don't care what others say, this thing gives you fiber optics back. Be warned! With the right approach, it can be used on almost new surfaces. But if you don't know what you're doing, you can destroy the surface. The bottom line is: walk lightly and carefully.
