My new TCP Global HVLP 2mm tip spray gun works great with slightly thinned latex and oil paints. My old gun was good for varnish and thin varnish but tended to clog with thicker material. I've used the new sprayer with primers and top coats for even coverage and good drying results. The small tubular filter at the top of the gun assembly catches any particles that might seep through my screen. The controls are precise and the pistol is well made. Available fluid tip sizes should be useful for spraying a variety of materials. I will be using the spray gun a few days a month for chores around the house, mostly painting doors and long sections of wood paneling. Very important.
