I deducted a star because I can no longer use these pots! I bought two of these last year for turkey stew and other dishes that require large pots. It was great and the size is still there. Nonstick is good too. My problem is that my old Serpentine electric range died after 30 years of operation and my new range has a ceramic glass top which this pan was not made for. The bottom is anything but smooth and will definitely scratch my new stove. Now I can only use it for straining broth etc. I no longer use it on my stove. I am disappointed that I can no longer cook in it. But it's too good to throw them away! I pass them along to anyone who has a gas range or an old-fashioned electric range. Beware for those who have spiral plates! These pots become very heavy when filled with liquid. They got so heavy that they pushed my coils down and caused electrical connection problems with the coils. So I suggest you only use them on a gas stove.
