I have not used this item and have gone air cooled BUT.

This was for my PC build of the decade. Never got around to testing it and ended up using the Noctua NH-D15. I didn't have the heart to install an Asetek Gen 6 cooling system on my $4500 PC. IF you have ever compared an AIO to a high quality air cooler, you may find that an air cooler is a better value. AIO has to match the price. You only pay for the extra bling. Other than that, it's the same as any other $140 Asetek 360mm. The LCD display is great, but please note that this unit cannot read coolant temperature. In terms of noise and control, it is no better than any air cooler, as it increases in size with every immediate CPU peak. The main reason I returned it: THE SOFTWARE IS TERRIBLE. It is needed to control this cooler. Gigabyte can also create malware because I refuse to use any of their utilities on my computer. You need 2 clunky pieces of software to run this thing. One last note and be careful with the buyer: Revain ships them without a box. My first block was bare with no additional tape or spacers. The box was in rough shape and looked noticeably wrinkled. I didn't believe the cooler and replaced it. The replacement that was sent to me was just as good. Only its bare box with the product does not stand up to the harsh delivery conditions in my opinion. AMAZON PLEASE PACK THESE EXPENSIVE GOODS IN A BOX! All in all, I couldn't stand the "cheap" AIO that might be phasing out in my used car system. So I opted for air cooling.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No mold required
